Cosmetic/Facial Acupuncture treatment is both a healing and a beauty treatment.
Face is one of micro-systems in acupuncture which means that we can treat many different parts of our body by inserting needles in the face. At the same time it benefits skin and its tone and improves the appearance of the whole face.
The benefits of facial acupuncture include increasing blood circulation, reducing the look of wrinkles or baggy eyes and toning the face. It will extract toxic waste from the skin, remove blood stagnation and promote normal circulation and metabolic processes of the body.
It has prominent and lasting effects for facelift, wrinkles, freckles, pimples and other known beauty related symptoms.
What to expect in the treatment?
Everyone works differently and everyone’s face is different too. The treatment is all tailored and adapted to the person and their needs.
In my treatment I use:
*Small and thin acupuncture needles inserted in different areas of the face
*Guasha tool – it as a “stick” made from cow’s horn or jade stone specially designed for our face’s features
*Facial jade roller – cooling and very soothing roller made of Jade stone
*Facial cupping – small, specialised suction cups that help tone facial muscles, tighten and lift the skin.
*Facial massage to complete the treatment.
While the needles are in the face, usually a neck and upper shoulder massage is given for deeper relaxation.
There is 42 individual muscles in the face and they get tight and tired as every other muscle in our body.
This treatment is a natural way to minimise the years reflected on your face with no side effects. It is also extremely relaxing!
The effects are seen after single session. If you would like long lasting results it is best to have several treatments (packages are available).
